The Embassies of Australia and Canada, in collaboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Hellenic Aid are proud to host the compelling photographic exhibition ‘Rebuilding Afghanistan: An International Partnership’. The photographic exhibition illustrates clearly the continuing need to contribute to Afghanistan’s reconstruction and stabilization. The photographs capture the hope and determination of ordinary Afghan citizens to build a better future – men digging water canals with basic tools, young girls attending school outdoors and small carefree children with hope depicted on their faces. The exhibition seeks to show that long term commitment to Afghanistan requires a heavy emphasis on reconstruction and development. That effort can only take place when security and certainty are provided.
